Well for the essay part, I am going to give you all the things needed for credit (I hope) but these are the basic ideas behind the answers so they should work. If you want to you can expand you answers which I strongly suggest, because if you copy what I have exactly then this will look very bad. Do try and reword your answer cause I don't want to be accused of cheating, I am only helping. Also I didn't do one so look into it.

61 a) Lack of diversification in American economy, prosperity depended on basic & few industries (construction/automobile)

      b) Maldistribution of purchasing power, weakness in consumer demand

      c) Credit structure, farmers in debt and could not pay back loans, loans were given out too easily

      d) US position in international trade, European markets interest in American goods declines

      e) International debt structure, US would not reduce or forgive foreign debts, loaned money to European countries.

67 a) Wanted business leaders to not cut production or workers, spend more money on work programs and etc…, and help out farmers

     b) Companies did cut production and workers, didn’t spend enough money or for enough time, didn’t really help the farmers

130 AAA- Agricultural Adjustment Administration/ to reduce crop production and end agricultural surplus and the spiral downward of their prices/ paying farmers not to produce

NRA- National Recovery Administration/ minimum wage, maximum hour weeks, no more child labor, raise purchasing power, increase employment/ failed to meet these goals

TVA- Tennessee Valley Authority/ provide cheap electricity, construct waterways, stop flooding/ Built dams to stop flooding and to harvest electricity, and built waterways

SEC- Securities Exchange Commission/ regulate the stock market/ they policed the stock market (This is not really mentioned in the book so check this part)

CCC- Civilian Conservation Corps/ employ youth, prevent crime, reforest & conserve environment/ created parks and camps, employed youth to construct camps and to conduct conservation projects

131 a) Right-Reckless spending, economic crackpots, socialist/ Left- not totally against the new deal

       b) That the gov. was spending way too much money, knew nothing about the economy and had many socialist points in their plans.

       c) Roosevelt did not want to lose the support he needed for re-election so he changed the new deal mostly due to the pressure on him

133 I am sorry but I did not want to do this one, it looked like it would take too much time so I went to bed instead. Someone better do it though

134 a) Women- was never hostile to feminism but also did not do too much to help women either, Roosevelt appointed the first female to his cabinet, special protection for women

       b) Minorities- for blacks it really refused to make equality a significant part of its agenda, Indians were given the tools needed to rebuild their tribes, like the right to own land

Please check all the questions with question marks next to them, you have plenty of time to do so during school on the day to turn it in. There are more ??? questions on the second test because I was tired and did not care to answer those types of  question. I think that they are the most resonable answer so most of them will be right, but still check them anyways.
